Job summary

Clarify Consultancy Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive high-quality engineering for a modern Java-based platform. This is a full-stack leadership role with strong Spring, microservices, and event-driven systems using Kafka.

You'll mentor engineers, encourage best practices, and collaborate across teams in a fast-paced, hybrid environment with two office days per week. Production-grade code and comprehensive tests are expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Technical Lead in full-stack Java environments.
• Hands-on with Spring, microservices, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong mentoring, communication and collaboration in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture in partnership with the Head Architect.
• Present architectural approaches and technical solutions to fellow Technical Leads.
• Produce high-level documentation for agreed technical implementations.
• Participate in solution design sessions and peer code reviews.
• Write production-grade code with comprehensive test coverage.
• Mentor and coach engineering team members for growth.
• Engage in agile ceremonies and stay current with emerging tech.
