Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an experienced Technical Lead Full Stack Developer for a rapidly expanding UK-based SaaS firm. The role involves hands-on leadership from design to production in a modern cloud stack, with daily live updates and opportunities to influence architecture and engineering practices.

We require 10+ years in full stack development, 5+ years in JavaScript/TypeScript, a CS degree, and strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years in full stack development.
• At least 5 years hands-on JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Interest in leveraging AI for software development is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery within a high-performing dev team.
• Contribute to solution design, architecture and domain modeling.
• Develop proof-of-concept prototypes and spikes for complex problems.
• Break down requirements into epics and user stories with product teams.
• Write production-ready code across the stack following best practices.
• Ensure code quality, performance, security and maintainability.
• Support and optimise live systems post-deployment and drive improvements.
• Influence technical direction and engineering practices across the team.
