Job summary

Signify Technology is recruiting a Staff Full Stack Developer to steer the technical direction of a major customer-facing web platform and its mobile apps. You will be a senior voice setting standards, guiding teams and delivering on critical projects, primarily building in TypeScript and Scala on AWS, in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong frontend and AWS credentials, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building web applications.
• Strong frontend skills with TypeScript and React, plus modern CSS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience leading teams and significant projects in a fast-moving, product-driven environment.
• Track record building and maintaining high-traffic, performant platforms with wide organisational impact.
• Confident turning product and business requirements into technical solutions.
• Hands-on experience applying security best practice.
• A team player who collaborates well across teams and is curious about where the wider organisation is heading.
• Must be UK-based with the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Set engineering standards and guide teams on delivery.
• Lead delivery on high-impact customer-facing web platforms and associated mobile apps.
• Collaborate with designers, UX, product leads and other developers to shape what gets built and how.
• Develop primarily in TypeScript and Scala on AWS, pairing with teammates to ship and iterate quickly.
