Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Technical Manager / Head of Technical (Food Manufacturing) in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. You will take full ownership of technical standards, lead a Technical & Laboratory team (~15 staff), and partner with Production to uphold food safety, quality and compliance.

You'll drive HACCP, manage BRCGS audits, and develop capabilities with ongoing training and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated food manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead Technical & Laboratory teams.
• BRCGS audits and HACCP experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technical & Laboratory function (approx. 15 people) across food safety, quality, hygiene and compliance.
• Own BRCGS accreditation preparation and audits, plus customer/regulatory audits.
• Maintain HACCP plans and site standards; drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Production and other departments to support NPD and approvals.
