Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Technical Lead for our Digital Data & Cloud Practice to lead large-scale cloud transformation projects across public and private sectors. You will guide architecture, development, and delivery, ensuring secure, scalable solutions while mentoring teammates.

The role involves hands-on coding with Angular and .NET/C#, along with DevOps practices, REST APIs, and cloud services on Azure. Flexible/remote working is available to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams in cloud-native environments.
• Strong understanding of microservices and message-driven architectures.
• Proven ability to design and deliver REST-based APIs with scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based software applications.
• Technical leadership within a team to deliver scalable, secure solutions with CI/CD and security best practices.
• Work within an agile project management/delivery methodology.
• Own product/solution design, estimation, shaping and user story creation.
• Document architectures, configurations, releases and handovers.
• Collaborate with Version 1 and customer stakeholders across the lifecycle.
• Communicate complex designs clearly to stakeholders of varying technical ability.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and promote collaboration.
