Job summary

Manor Estates Housing Association is seeking a full-time Technical Inspector to join the busy Property Services team at Head Office, Edinburgh. The role covers void inspections and monitoring reactive and planned maintenance, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, customer-focused services.

You will report to the Property Services Manager and work 35 hours over five days. The package includes EVH Grade 7 salary (£42,707–£46,895), a car user allowance, a SHAPS pension salary sacrifice

Technical Inspector (full time, 35 hours)

Salary: EVH Grade 7 £42,707 - £46,895

Office opening hours Monday to Thursday 9.00 am - 5.00pm, Friday 9.00am - 3.30pm we are operating 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

Manor Estates Housing Association is seeking to recruit a full-time (35 hours) Technical Inspector to join our busy Property Services team. We manage over 1000 tenanted properties and provide factoring services to over 1700 residents.

The role is to ensure the delivery of a responsive, effective and efficient property service. The postholder will be expected to carry out a range of technical services including void inspections as well as monitor both reactive and planned maintenance activities. You must be committed to delivery of customer focussed services, aiming to always provide a high-quality response, and have experience of prioritising tasks in a busy environment.

The post holder will report to the Property Services Manager.
