Qualifications

• Experience leading delivery in a digital agency or client consultancy environment.
• Commercial experience with C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to manage technical delivery in client-facing environments.
• Nice to have: Azure AI Services and OpenAI API integration experience.
• Nice to have: Webflow or other low-code exposure.
• Nice to have: Python experience in AI projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution architecture.
• Provide hands-on support across .NET based backend development (fullstack bonus).
• Manage team delivery and resourcing through JIRA.
• Oversee Azure hosting, infrastructure, and CI/CD processes.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Drive code quality, QA standards, and E2E testing using Playwright.

Global Digital Agency are hiring a hands-on Tech Director to lead the delivery of digital products across web, app, and AI platforms. Based near Oxford Circus, London, this hybrid role requires 3 days per week in the office. You’ll combine technical leadership with hands-on development, working closely with developers, stakeholders, and external clients to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution architecture
• Provide hands-on support across .NET based backend development (fullstack bonus)
• Manage team delivery and resourcing through JIRA
• Oversee Azure hosting, infrastructure, and CI/CD processes

Required Experience

• Strong experience leading delivery within a digital agency or end-client project consultancy environment, this is essential
