Job summary

Eastern Education Group is seeking a Technician Demonstrator in Construction Multi-Trades to join the School of Built Environment on a full-time, on-site basis. You will prepare and maintain resources, tools and equipment to support staff and students during practical lessons and demonstrations.

You will help deliver practical learning, assist with safety, organise stock, and keep workshop spaces tidy and compliant with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction/trades environments preferred.
• Ability to maintain workshop safety and organise tools and materials.
• Some experience supporting lectures or demonstrations is desirable.

Are you passionate about the Built Environment and eager to play a crucial role in supporting the next generation of construction professionals? We are looking for a dedicated Technician Demonstrator in Construction Multi-Trades to join our team and ensure an outstanding learning experience for our students. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining resources, tools, and equipment to support both staff and students in the School of Built Environment. You will assist in the delivery of practical learning by providing technical support during lectures and demonstrations, as well as contributing to the development of new practical tasks. A key part of your work will involve ensuring that tools and materials are well- organised, accessible, and meet the highest standards of safety. You will also be responsible for maintaining stock levels, recording inventory, and keeping all workshop and classroom spaces tidy and functional. Regular maintenance of equipment will be essential, and you will be expected to identify and report any defects, ensuring that all tools and resources are compliant with safety regulations.
