Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Delivery Coordinator to support governance and assurance activities across delivery streams in a regulated environment. The role focuses on maintaining governance templates, tracking SDLC/STLC milestones, and producing clear stakeholder summaries.

You will liaise with technical teams and governance stakeholders, drive improvements to reporting practices, and help standardise documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery coordination, PMO, governance or assurance support.
• Pragmatic application of standards, controls and delivery frameworks.
• Basic understanding of software delivery and IT lifecycle concepts (SDLC, testing, service delivery).
• Experience supporting governance, reporting or compliance activities.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
• Experience working with delivery or technical teams.
• Experience within public sector, defence or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methods.
• Awareness of ITIL or service management concepts.
• Awareness of cloud environments (AWS/Azure); awareness only, not hands-on.
• Curiosity, problem-solving ability and motivation to improve technology delivery.
• Must have or be eligible for UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assurance activities across projects and delivery workstreams.

• Support preparation for governance boards, audits, and assurance reviews.
• Ensure documentation is complete, up to date, and appropriately stored.
• Track milestones, risks, and dependencies with delivery managers and technical teams.
• Assist with planning and scheduling governance reviews and checkpoints.
• Follow up on actions from assurance reviews and governance meetings.
• Produce status reports, dashboards, and stakeholder summaries.
• Highlight documentation gaps, issues, and concerns clearly and structurally.
• Liaise between technical teams and governance stakeholders.
• Support communication of assurance outcomes to programme leadership.
• Support continual improvement of delivery, assurance, and governance processes.
• Help standardise reporting and documentation practices.
• Identify opportunities to streamline delivery processes.
