We have an exciting new opportunity for a Technical Coordinator to join our team within Vistry West Yorkshire, at our office in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. As our Technical Coordinator, you will coordinate all technical information between external consultants and internal departments throughout the design and construction process, ensuring all approvals are obtained and information is received and issued to enable a prompt start on site.

  • Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals including section agreements (section 38 & 104 designs)
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Role responsibilities

  • Follow company Life of Site processes
  • Ensure accuracy and commercial suitability of drawings throughout design and construction
  • Lead design team meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Participate in site progress meetings
  • Manage planning process and review approval conditions
  • Define construction specifications, SAP, and BREEAM strategies
  • Coordinate Building Control applications and documentation
  • Engage with consultants to progress technical matters
  • Support review and approval of subcontractor design info
  • Maintain current drawings and documents on Viewpoint Platform
  • Review contract documentation, warranties, bonds with Contracts Manager
  • Obtain statutory approvals for engineering design and ground remediation
  • Coordinate Temporary Works designs
  • Attend site visits to resolve construction issues
  • Incorporate new regulations as required
