Job summary

STRABAG is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Site Engineer to join our Technical Controlling function in the Build sector in the UK. This dual role blends on-site construction insight with financial and operational control to drive strategic reporting and compliance.

You will monitor costs and budgets, translate site activity into accurate data, and work closely with Project Management and Directors to shape tenders and delivery. UK experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience on site with understanding of how projects are built and managed.
• Proven on-site experience with main contractor preferred.
• Familiarity with CPS and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Monitor costs, revenue, productivity, and budgets in real time.
• Act as interface between Project Manager and Business Unit translating site activities into financial data.
• Forecast deviations from schedule and cost forecasts using engineering/QS judgment.
• Ensure accuracy of Working Budget and Estimates within iTWO.
• Drive the Feedback Loop capturing lessons learned for tender improvements.
