Job summary

BGIS UK & Europe seeks a Technical Contract Manager to lead, manage and develop all technical and operational aspects of a key Central London contract. You will ensure financial, compliance and performance targets are met or exceeded, with strong electrical or mechanical expertise and liaison with client and senior managers.

Role requires proactive operation, safety leadership and a focus on customer satisfaction, risk management, and continuous improvement across HVCA SFG20 compliant systems.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• ILM Level 3 or equivalent leadership qualification.
• Experience delivering hard FM services on a complex site.
• Excellent client engagement and relationship management skills.
• Proven capability in PPM, reactive maintenance and compliance.
• Experience leading engineering teams on large estates.
• Knowledge of building services plant including HVAC, electrical, BMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop technical and operational aspects of the contract.
• Maintain site health & safety and ensure safe working practices.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure contract development.
• Support Helpdesk to achieve high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain client relationships and attend meetings.
• Oversee PPM planning and ensure compliance with HVCA SFG20.
• Manage contract P&L including WIP, debt, forecasting and budget control.
• Conduct engineer appraisals and uphold quality control processes.
• Produce monthly reports and ensure timely communications.
