Job summary

Essentra is seeking a Technical Copywriter to join its global Digital team in the UK. You will translate complex technical data from engineering and manufacturing into high-quality digital content, supporting expert guides, whitepapers, and case studies.

You’ll interview internal experts and collaborate with Product Management and Commercial teams to ensure accurate, SEO-friendly content that strengthens brand leadership and drives organic traffic. Hybrid role based in Kidlington.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in copywriting or technical writing.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and translate technical data and specifications.
• Strong interviewing skills to extract information from subject matter experts.
• Degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• Detail-oriented with high written accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of SEO, keyword integration, and on-page optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research, technical copywriting, and creation of unique content for expert guides, technical whitepapers, and case studies.
• Conduct structured interviews with internal technical departments, engineers, and sales teams to extract detailed insights.
• Interpret and analyse technical data sheets, component specifications, and manufacturing data for accurate digital assets.
• Support the SEO content strategy by integrating keyword research into technical copy.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Information, and Commercial teams for consistent messaging.
• Ensure deliverables align with brand voice, quality benchmarks, and SEO best practices.
• Assist content marketing to relate ecommerce pages with high-value technical content.
• Stay updated on industrial trends and developments.
