Job summary

SER Ltd in Horsham, West Sussex, is seeking an IT consultant specializing in MSP environments to deliver infrastructure and cloud projects end-to-end.

You will support presales, design solutions, scope, and lead projects from planning through handover, with strong Microsoft 365/Azure knowledge, networking and security.

The role offers up to £50,000 per year plus potential commission and real ownership across the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in an MSP/Managed Services environment.
• Experience delivering IT infrastructure and cloud projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Good understanding of networking, servers, virtualization and cybersecurity.
• Experience supporting or designing technical solutions for customers.
• Involvement in presales, solution design or technical scoping.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical escalations.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Excellent organisation and project ownership skills.
• Genuine desire to develop technically and take ownership of your work.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support presales activities, including technical discovery, solution design, scoping and client presentations.
• Take ownership of technical projects from initial planning and design through to implementation and handover.
• Lead and deliver infrastructure, cloud, Microsoft 365 and networking projects.
• Act as a senior escalation point for the Service Desk, providing guidance and resolving complex technical issues.
• Produce technical documentation, project plans and solution designs.
• Work alongside the Service Desk, Project and Account Management teams to ensure successful client outcomes.
• Provide technical consultancy and guidance to customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve client infrastructure, security and overall IT environments.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to a high technical standard.
