Job summary

360 Recruitment is seeking a Technical Compliance Manager in Derbyshire within the food manufacturing sector. The role focuses on maintaining the site's QMS, leading BRCGS and external audits, and ensuring products meet safety and quality standards.

You will review HACCP, oversee documentation, manage complaints and non-conformances, monitor KPIs, and work with Production and Engineering to drive continuous improvement while staying current with legislation.

Qualifications

• Experience within a quality / technical role in a food manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the site's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards and customer requirements.
• Lead and coordinate BRCGS audits, customer audits and external inspections, ensuring the site maintains the required standards.
• Ensure HACCP plans, food safety procedures and risk assessments are regularly reviewed and updated.
• Oversee technical documentation, specifications, product information, traceability and due diligence records.
• Manage customer complaints, non-conformances, corrective actions and root cause investigations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, allergen management, labelling and product quality standards.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and Operations to drive technical standards and resolve quality issues.
• Manage and support internal audits, site inspections and compliance checks.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching and training to colleagues across the site.
• Keep up to date with changes in food legislation, industry standards and customer codes of practice.
