Make Your Mark in Fresh Produce Compliance

Join a market-leading fresh-produce business where quality, safety, and responsible sourcing are at the heart of everything they do.

We're looking for a Technical Compliance Coordinator to manage supplier technical compliance across their product categories and support their ambitious growth strategy.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Supplier Compliance Manager, you'll be a key point of contact for suppliers and customers, ensuring products meet all food-safety, ethical, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Your focus will include:

  • Supplier Due Diligence - Maintain and update approved supplier lists, manage risk assessments (pesticide, micro, ethical, integrity & segregation, VACCP/TACCP), and oversee new supplier approvals on internal and customer portals.
  • Compliance & Audit - Investigate non-conformances, lead recall and traceability exercises, close out audit actions, and support customer/external audits such as BRC, Red Tractor, and Soil Association.
  • Data & Reporting - Trend non-conformance data, monitor KPIs, and lead supplier-approval critical-path meetings to drive continual improvement.
  • Operating Ethically - Work with our Ethical Lead to ensure supplier compliance with SMETA, Fairtrade, RFA, SIZA and other ethical-sourcing standards.
What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or Sustainability (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of UK food-safety and quality systems, ideally within fresh produce.
  • Hands-on experience in technical or quality roles and confidence using systems such as Prophet, Foods Connected, or Food Experts.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • A collaborative, positive approach and clear, confident communication.
Why Join Us?
