Connect Legal Partners seeks an experienced professional indemnity claims specialist to run a full caseload for insurers under delegated authority. You will investigate notifications, advise on resolution routes, negotiate settlements and manage suppliers, while contributing to training and knowledge sharing.

Occasional travel to London is required, and the role supports flexible working where possible within the UK.

Qualifications

• Technical claims experience and knowledge of the relevant law.
• Experience with case management systems preferred.
• Strong MS Office and KPI understanding.

A national law firm with a strong insurance and disputes practice, acting for insurers and corporate clients.

The role

You will run a full caseload of professional indemnity claims for insurers within delegated authority. You will investigate notifications, advise on the best route to resolve each claim with a view on costs and benefits, negotiate settlements, manage suppliers and keep case records accurate. You will also help train colleagues. Occasional London travel is needed.

What you will need

Technical claims experience and knowledge of the relevant law, good prioritisation, strong Microsoft Office skills and an understanding of service levels and KPIs. Case management system experience is preferred.
