Job summary

Red Recruitment is seeking a Technical Claims Handler for a Bristol City Centre role within a leading international law firm. The position focuses on handling complex technical claims and requires indemnity experience and a capable, collaborative mindset.

The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, providing technical and legislative insight, and will work with brokers, lawyers, investigators and other partners to drive effective claims management.

Key Responsibilities of a Technical Claims Handler

• Handling complex technical claims cases
• Acting as a subject matter expert across the business
• Providing technical and legislative claims expertise and knowledge
• Instructing and collaborating with claims partners, such as brokers, lawyers, investigators and assessors
• Developing and managing relationships with claims partners, updating existing processes, and creating new ones

Key Skills and Experience of a Technical Claims Handler

• You ideally will have a strong grounding in claims including technical knowledge and experience
• You should be able to build internal relationships and understand the expertise across the firm
• Having a commercial, committed and proactive approach is required
• You will need to be able to interact with clients, intermediaries and suppliers to build effective, collaborative working relationships based on trust
