Job summary

Red Bull Advanced Technologies (RBAT) seeks a Technical Buyer to procure low-volume, high-complexity mechanical components, manufacturing processes and services for cutting-edge projects. The role is a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract, based in Milton Keynes, UK.

You will manage end-to-end sourcing, select suppliers, negotiate terms, expedite deliveries and monitor costs, while collaborating with engineering teams to interpret drawings and processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience procuring low-volume, high-complexity mechanical components.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and purchasing for designated projects and commodities.
• Identify and select suitable suppliers from the approved base, negotiating quality, delivery and cost.
• Expedite supplier deliveries and proactively manage supply risks and delays.
• Develop supplier relationships and identify new sources of manufacturing capacity.
• Support budget planning and cost monitoring activities.
• Provide procurement SME guidance to the wider business.
