Job summary

HMRC is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support work within CDPO – VO. You will translate business needs into clear, prioritised requirements and map data flows in collaboration with Solution and Data Architecture teams.

You will develop as-is, could-be and to-be process models and produce concise requirements documentation, process maps and data-flow diagrams to support feasibility assessments and delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong technical BA with ability to operate across business, data and technology perspectives.
• Experience identifying, analysing and documenting data flows and requirements.
• Proficient in developing as-is, could-be and to-be business processes.

Responsibilities

• Explore and articulate the problem space clearly.
• Collaborate with Solution and Data Architects to map data flows and requirements.
• Elicit, analyse and document clear business requirements.
• Apply MoSCoW prioritisation to prioritise requirements.
• Map as-is, could-be and to-be processes and assess feasibility.
• Produce clear requirements documentation, process maps and data-flow diagrams.
