Job summary

RED Global is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a 3-month rolling contract in the UK, with hybrid work options. You will tackle underwriting, pricing or portfolio analytics within insurance, using SQL/Python for data profiling and BI tools to deliver insights.

You will engage with offshore delivery teams and cloud platforms, translating requirements into data models and user stories for delivery success.

Qualifications

• Experience as Technical BA in underwriting, pricing or portfolio analytics within insurance.
• Strong SQL (advanced) and Python for data profiling and analysis.
• Experience with BI/visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiar with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS or GCP).

Responsibilities

• Perform underwriting, pricing or portfolio analytics within insurance.
• Understand underwriting concepts and workflows in commercial, specialty or personal lines.
• Use SQL and Python for data profiling and analysis.
• Leverage BI and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Work with cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Map processes (BPMN/Visio), write user stories and source-to-target mappings.
• Collaborate with offshore delivery teams on deliverables.
