Job summary

Clear Futures Recruitment Ltd is seeking a technically minded Business Analyst for a law firm in Bromley. The role sits in the IT team, reporting to the Head of IT and collaborating with stakeholders across the firm.

You will translate requirements into practical solutions, coordinate system improvements, and identify opportunities to streamline processes through technology and automation. A strong mix of BA and technical understanding is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst.
• Strong requirements gathering, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• An understanding of software development, databases, APIs and integrations.
• The ability to read and interpret code and communicate effectively with technical teams.
• Experience coordinating testing, system changes and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and technical requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work with stakeholders, internal IT teams and external suppliers to deliver system enhancements.
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Read and interpret code, understand application logic and support technical problem-solving.
• Coordinate change control, testing, UAT and implementation.
• Support IT projects, supplier management and systems integration.
• Contribute to information security, technology risk and ISO 27001 readiness.

Technical Business Analyst

Salary: Dependent on experience

Our client, a law firm based in Bromley is looking for a technically minded Business Analyst to join its IT team, working closely with the Head of IT and stakeholders across the firm.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong business analysis skills with a good understanding of software, applications and systems integration. You’ll bridge the gap between business and technology, translating requirements into practical solutions, coordinating system improvements and identifying opportunities to streamline processes through technology and automation.

• Gather and document business and technical requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work with stakeholders, internal IT teams and external suppliers to deliver system enhancements.

About you

You don't need to be a hands-on developer, but you must be technically confident and comfortable understanding how applications work.
