Job summary

Oliver Bernard is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to bridge Product and Engineering, acting as the main liaison across Product, Engineering, Architecture and Data.

The role focuses on translating requirements into functional specs, mapping APIs and data flows, and guiding technical delivery. London-based with office presence three days per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years BA / Systems Analysis / PO experience.
• Comfortable with REST APIs, JSON, data schemas and SQL (no coding required).
• Experience with subscriptions, membership, payments, health/fitness, retail or other complex multi-system environments.

Job description

We have a Technical Business Analyst opportunity sitting between Product and Engineering, acting as the key link across Product, Engineering, Architecture and Data.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys getting into the detail of complex systems, APIs and data, while still understanding the wider product and business context.

We're looking for someone who can:

• Translate high-level product requirements into functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria

• Work closely with engineers on backlog refinement and technical delivery

Ideally, you'll have 5+ years' BA / Systems Analysis / PO experience, with strong technical analysis experience. You should be comfortable with REST APIs, JSON, data schemas and SQL (no coding required).

Experience across subscriptions, membership, payments, health/fitness, retail or other complex multi-system environments would be particularly relevant.

London - 3 days per week in office

£75-80k, with flexibility up to £85k for an exceptional candidate
