Job summary

OpenPayd is building universal financial infrastructure. We seek a Technical Business Analyst to translate regulatory requirements into system rules and controls, and to analyse APIs for compliance across payment workflows.

You will map end-to-end processes, validate data fields, and collaborate with Compliance, Engineering and Product to safeguard reconciliation and liquidity controls.

Qualifications

• Experience translating regulatory or compliance requirements into actionable system rules and artefacts.
• Familiarity with payment schemes (SEPA, SWIFT, FPS or equivalent).
• Ability to analyze API structures and define validation logic.

Responsibilities

• Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into clear business rules and system behaviours.
• Define mappings between obligations and controls within the platform.
• Analyse APIs and internal services to ensure compliance is enforced at payload and workflow levels.
• Define field-level validation for account data, beneficiary information, and transaction references.
• Map end-to-end processes to ensure regulatory coverage across flows.
