Job summary

Expervent, part of the MARCH Group, is seeking an experienced Technical Author and Document Controller to join our Jarrow team. You will produce operation and maintenance manuals, handling templates, reviews, and controlled documentation in line with ISO 9001.

You will coordinate document reviews, manage registers and transmittals, and support continuous improvement of templates while safeguarding sensitive client information. On-site role with opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent with strong written communication skills.
• Experience producing and controlling project documentation.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and client document requirements.
• Ability to coordinate document review and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Produce Operation & Maintenance Manuals and design reports.
• Prepare client templates and technical query trackers.
• Review and edit documents for clarity and accuracy.
• Coordinate review/approval processes and track revisions.
• Manage document registers, folders and revision histories.
• Issue, track and record document transmittals.
• Verify numbering, references and revision statuses.
• Maintain document control systems per ISO 9001.
• Support template/procedure development and improvements.
• Handle sensitive client information securely.
