The postholder fulfils a vital role in ensuring the safe and environmentally aware end of use for medical equipment. This will encompass recycling and restocking stores; battery testing and working to ensure stores hold an optimum of stock.
The post encompasses the opportunity to support Field Engineers, learning what it takes to support patients and service users at their homes, schools and various support premises in the region.
The postholders will be able to cover relief delivery duties and deputise for the stores personnel when required.
The postholder may be required to undertake work in our other service bases to cover short term staffing gaps.
The post holder may be required to undertake further training, including, where appropriate, a suitable apprenticeship to enhance current skills and prepare for future roles.
