Technical Asset Manager – Renewable Energy

London – office-based

MDE is seeking a Technical Asset Manager. This role focuses on operational optimisation and performance management of a diverse renewable energy portfolio. It offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical background passionate about energy transition to maximize renewable energy asset performance.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, with experience in renewable energy, energy infrastructure, or utilities. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment, work with complex data sets, ensure compliance, and optimize asset performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with technical, operational, and safety standards across the asset portfolio.
• Oversee operations and maintenance, including contractor coordination and regulatory reporting.
• Optimize asset performance through data analysis and technical monitoring.
• Manage key processes such as PAC, IAC, and FAC.
• Support technical operations, including SCADA monitoring, site performance analysis, and liaising with technical advisors.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in renewable energy, utilities, or energy infrastructure in the UK.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and technical reporting.
• Background in engineering, energy systems, or similar technical discipline.
• Experience with digital monitoring tools, SCADA systems, and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
