Job summary

SR2 is seeking an experienced Technical Architect on a contract basis for a high-profile, customer-facing programme in the United Kingdom. The role requires active SC clearance and will provide technical leadership across delivery teams, guiding design and outcomes.

You will collaborate with software engineers, product, delivery and other technical specialists, and drive authentication and identity service integrations across user-facing applications.

Qualifications

• Experience as Technical Architect or architecture-focused role.
• Strong software development background.
• Experience with identity, authentication and authorisation technologies.
• Good working knowledge of OIDC and OAuth.
• Experience designing user-facing web or application integrations.
• Strong AWS/cloud experience.
• Experience leading technical teams in agile multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, security and scalability.
• Experience with DevOps and continuous delivery practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary delivery teams


• Take ownership of technical outcomes and support teams through design and delivery


• Lead technical decision-making and take a balanced approach to technology selection


• Work closely with software engineers, product, delivery and other technical specialists


• Support the integration of authentication and identity services across user-facing applications

Essential skills

• Strong experience as a Technical Architect or in a similar architecture-focused role


• Strong software development background


• Experience with identity, authentication and authorisation technologies
