Job summary
SR2 REC LTD in London is currently seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join on a contract basis. Active SC clearance is required due to the sensitive nature of the role.
You will provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary delivery teams, own technical outcomes, and guide design and delivery. Work closely with engineers, product, and other technical specialists to support authentication services across user-facing applications.
Qualifications
- Must have proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar architecture-focused role.
- Experience with identity, authentication and authorisation technologies.
- Strong knowledge of OIDC and OAuth protocols.
- Experience leading technical teams delivering user-focused digital services.
- Solid understanding of application architecture, security and scalability.
- Experience working in Agile multidisciplinary teams and DevOps environments.
Responsibilities

SR2 is supporting a high-profile, customer-facing programme and is looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join on a contract basis.
Due to the nature of the role, candidates will require active SC clearance.
- Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary delivery teams
- Take ownership of technical outcomes and support teams through design and delivery
- Lead technical decision-making and take a balanced approach to technology selection
- Work closely with software engineers, product, delivery and other technical specialists
- Support the integration of authentication and identity services across user-facing applications
- Influence senior stakeholders and support evidence-based technical decision-making
- Strong experience as a Technical Architect or in a similar architecture-focused role
- Experience with identity, authentication and authorisation technologies
- Good working knowledge of OIDC and OAuth
- Experience leading technical teams and delivering user-focused digital services
- Strong understanding of application architecture, security and scalability
- Experience working within Agile multidisciplinary teams
