Job summary

SR2 is seeking an experienced Technical Architect on a contract basis to provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary delivery teams. • Experience leading teams in Agile, DevOps environments.

SR2 is supporting a high-profile, customer-facing programme and is looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join on a contract basis.

Due to the nature of the role, candidates will require active SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary delivery teams
• Take ownership of technical outcomes and support teams through design and delivery
• Lead technical decision-making and take a balanced approach to technology selection
• Work closely with software engineers, product, delivery and other technical specialists
• Support the integration of authentication and identity services across user-facing applications
• Influence senior stakeholders and support evidence-based technical decision-making

Essential skills

• Strong experience as a Technical Architect or in a similar architecture-focused role
• Strong software development background
• Experience with identity, authentication and authorisation technologies
• Good working knowledge of OIDC and OAuth
• Experience designing user-facing web or application integrations
• Strong AWS/cloud experience
• Experience leading technical teams and delivering user-focused digital services
• Strong understanding of application architecture, security and scalability
• Experience working within Agile multidisciplinary teams
• Understanding of continuous delivery and DevOps cultures
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
