Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to join a leading RIBA chartered practice delivering high-profile projects across the UK and internationally. The role offers hybrid working, a generous holiday allowance, contributory pension, and dedicated time for professional development.

You will lead technical delivery from inception to completion, coordinating with contractors and design teams.

Qualifications

• ARB registered and eligible to practice in the UK.
• Strong post-Part 3 experience within a UK practice.
• Proficient in Revit and delivering high-quality technical drawings.
• Thorough knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a range of projects from inception through to completion
• Produce creative design solutions
• Develop high-quality technical drawings and specifications
• Liaise with main contractors and sub-contractor teams
• Attend design team meetings and site visits

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Glasgow's leading RIBA chartered practice who provide multidisciplined services to high profile projects across the UK and internationally. They are on the lookout for an experienced and Technical Architect to join their Glasgow based studio.

Duties for the role of Technical Architect include:

• Manage and deliver a range of projects from inception through to completion
• Produce creative design solutions
• Develop high-quality technical drawing and specifications
• Liaise with main contractors and sub-contractor teams
• Attend design team meetings and site visits

Skills and experience for the role of Technical Architect:

• ARB registered
• Strong post RIBA Part 3 qualification experience as an Architect within a UK practice
• Proficient with Revit
• Experience managing projects across various sectors
• Strong experience working across RIBA stages 0 through to 7
• Excellent Technical detailing skills
• Thorough understanding of UK building regulations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Live within a commutable distance to the Glasgow area
