Job summary

Penguin Recruitment in Glasgow is recruiting a Project Architect to join a well-established RIBA chartered practice delivering healthcare, science and education projects. You will hit the ground running managing projects from inception through to completion, liaising with the design team and contractors, and ensuring robust deliverables.

Ideal candidates will be ARB registered with post RIBA Part 3 UK experience, proficient in ArchiCAD or Revit, and able to work across all RIBA stages with

Qualifications

• ARB registered with UK practice experience.
• Strong post RIBA Part 3 qualification and UK project experience.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD or Revit essential.
• Experience across all RIBA work stages and healthcare/science projects preferred.
• Excellent drawing, detailing and presentation skills; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver healthcare and science projects from inception to completion.
• Produce detailed project information for all RIBA stages.
• Collaborate with design team on day-to-day information and drawings.
• Coordinate with main contractors and subcontractors on site.
• Attend design team meetings and site visits as required.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Duties for the role of Project Architect include:

• Manage and deliver healthcare and science projects from inception through to completion
• Produce detailed project information for all RIBA stages
• Work alongside the design team on day-to‑day project information
• Liaise with main contractors and sub-contractor teams
• Attend design team meetings and site visits

Skills and experience for the role of Project Architect:

• ARB registered
• Strong post RIBA Part 3 qualification experience as an Architect within a UK practice
• Proficiency with ArchiCAD or Revit
• Healthcare and science sector experience is desirable
