Job summary

Sanderson is seeking an experienced Technical Architect to design and lead scalable, secure digital services. You will provide architectural leadership from concept to implementation, guiding multidisciplinary teams and ensuring governance and best practices.

Remote role available across the UK, with a focus on delivering user-centred digital solutions and collaborating with stakeholders to drive digital transformation for clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing architectures for complex digital platforms and software solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP), APIs, integration patterns, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience producing architecture documentation using modelling approaches (C4, UML, ArchiMate).
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in architecture governance and assurance processes.
• Track record supporting agile delivery teams from design to implementation.
• Technology-agnostic mindset focused on delivering the right solution.
• Understanding of user-centred design principles and their influence on technology decisions.
• Experience working in consultancy environments.
• Knowledge of public sector standards and digital service delivery.

We're seeking a Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and user-centric technology solutions. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you'll provide architectural leadership from initial concept through to implementation, helping organisations make informed technology decisions and deliver impactful digital products.

The Role
