Position: Technical Architect (Associate Manager)

Location: Newcastle

Note: Due to the nature of client work, you will need to undergo a Security Clearance process, which requires 5+ years UK address history at the application time.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Review and integrate application requirements (functional, security, integration, performance, quality, operations).
  • Review and integrate technical architecture requirements.
  • Contribute to decisions on hardware, network products, system software, and security.
  • Mentor and lead a small team of technical specialists.
  • Work in a hybrid customer-facing/internal role.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with Scala/Java 8 and Mulesoft
  • Knowledge of AWS (Amazon Cloud)
  • Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools
  • Understanding of business and user needs, software architecture principles; ability to collaborate with analysts, SMEs, and developers; communicate with stakeholders of varying technical knowledge
  • Experience designing and delivering complex solutions across problem spaces
  • Ability to identify and evaluate new technologies and approaches
  • Subject matter expertise in tools, technologies, or industries, with ability to translate requirements into design documentation
  • Understanding key software and integration design patterns
