Pro IS, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Technical Accountant - Cash. The successful candidate will support our clients with a variety of functions, including technical accounting and claims operations. This position can be part-time or full-time, working remotely during daytime hours in the USA. Reinsurance experience and understanding of contract language are required.

Main Responsibilities

• Accurately allocate cash receipts against open balances.
• Perform credit control functions of reinsurance receivables/payables and related account reconciliations.
• Manage financial settlements with clients according to policy terms, ensuring timely cash flow management.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and clients to resolve queries, incorrect data, and missing information.
• Support ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• At least 1 year of experience in reinsurance/insurance operations required.
• College degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent insurance work experience.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple systems and accounts daily to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent changes.
