Job summary

Driscoll's is seeking a Technical Account Manager to manage the technical and quality relationship with key UK retail customers. You will ensure berries meet retailer specifications, legal requirements and high-quality standards, acting as the link between retailers, growers, packhouses and internal teams.

You will lead audits, audits preparation, supplier reviews and continuous improvement initiatives, while supporting sustainability and compliance across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years in technical or quality role within fresh produce.
• Experience working with UK retailers (e.g., Tesco TFMS, M&S Select Farm or Morrisons OPs).
• Knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS and GLOBAL G.A.P. standards.
• Willingness to travel and hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main technical point of contact for assigned UK retail customers.
• Build relationships with retailer technical teams around quality, compliance and innovation.
• Lead technical preparation and follow-up of retailer audits and customer visits.
• Interpret customer policies and implement requirements across the supply chain.
• Monitor product quality data, identify trends and coordinate corrective actions.
• Manage product complaints and non-conformances with timely resolutions.
• Review quality practices with growers, packhouses and suppliers.
• Provide technical support for audits and new product development.
