Team Jobs - Commercial is recruiting for a Technical Account Executive to join a growing fire and security business in Hampshire. This office-based role supports an established customer base with technical advice and account management responsibilities.

Ideal candidates will have a strong technical background in intruder alarms, CCTV and access control, with a view to progressing within an account management career. Salary starts at £35,000+, DOE, with Monday–Friday hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Fire & Security industry is essential.
• Strong technical knowledge of intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems.
• Engineering background is desirable for transitioning to account management.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to understand customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with existing customers.
• Provide technical guidance on fire and security systems (intruder alarms, CCTV, access control).
• Prepare quotations and recommend suitable solutions based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure work is planned and completed efficiently.
• Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to completion.
• Identify opportunities to enhance existing customer systems and services.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience while building long-term client relationships.

Technical Account Executive (Fire & Security)

Location: Hampshire, office based between Southampton & Portsmouth

Salary: £35,000+ (Negotiable DOE)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Are you an experienced Fire & Security Engineer looking to step away from the tools and move into an office-based, customer-focused role?

We're recruiting for a Technical Account Executive to join a growing and well-established fire and security business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in intruder alarms, CCTV and access control who wants to develop their career in account management while continuing to use their technical expertise.

The Role

Working from the company's office, you'll support an established customer base by providing technical advice, managing client accounts and liaising with engineers and internal teams to ensure the best possible service.

Key Responsibilities
