Job summary

Leading US law firm in London strengthens its Technology & IP Transactions practice, collaborating with market-leading Corporate and Private Equity teams to advise on IP, technology, data and commercial aspects of complex, high-value transactions.

The role offers exposure to sophisticated cross-border M&A, standalone technology and commercial mandates, and direct client exposure with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in technology transactions, commercial contracts, transactional IP or related advisory work.
• Blend of corporate transactional support and standalone commercial technology experience is advantageous.
• NQ - 3 PQE, E&W Qualified, or relevant common law qualification.

Responsibilities

• Advising on IP, technology and data matters arising from M&A, private equity investments, carve-outs and restructurings.
• Drafting and negotiating software licensing, SaaS, outsourcing, IT services and development agreements.
• Advising on joint ventures, strategic alliances, technology transfers and complex collaborations.
• Handling data protection, AI-related contractual arrangements and emerging technology risks.
• Working across sectors including technology, financial services, life sciences, digital infrastructure, media and consumer goods.
