Skilled Careers seeks a Repairs Supervisor (Reactive Maintenance) based in Romford, covering an Essex/North East London patch. You will oversee reactive maintenance and void workstreams, managing direct labour and multi-trade operatives using modern IT workflow systems.

Requirements include proven supervisory experience in social housing, strong IT skills with job scheduling software, and certification such as SSSTS/IOSH with a CSCS card. A UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• IT literacy and comfort with handheld tech and client portals.
• Strong IT capabilities including tablet/PDA tech and digital reporting systems.
• Good proficiency with Microsoft Office and job scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily workflows for direct labour operatives and multi-trade sub-contractors.
• Utilise internal job management software, PDA systems and client portals to track jobs and variations.
• Conduct pre- and post-inspections to ensure quality and KPIs for first-time fixes.
• Enforce health and safety across live properties, including RAMS audits and toolbox talks.
• Resolve tenant queries on-site to maintain high customer satisfaction.
