Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to own a local route with 40–50 stops daily. You will deliver parcels, load and unload with equipment, and ensure top-tier service through professional conduct and safety-minded driving.

Ideal candidates hold a valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation, with up to 6 months of recent 7.5 Tonne experience. This role emphasizes autonomy, tech-enabled delivery, and a solid work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting involved.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate a designated local route with 40–50 stops per day.
• Unload and load parcels using equipment like sack barrows and hand trucks.
• Deliver to customers with a focus on safety, efficiency and 10/10 service.
• Represent the company with a friendly, professional image on every drop-off.
