Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to join its team on a full-time basis. The role covers a local route with 40–50 stops daily, using Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and ensure on-time, safe handovers to customers.

The ideal candidate holds a valid 7.5 Tonne licence with DQC/CPC accreditation and up to 6 months’ relevant driving experience. This position promotes from within and offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence or equivalent.
• DQC/CPC accreditation is required.
• Ideally 6 months’ recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, friendly and able to provide good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver settlements on local routes with 7.5 Tonne vehicle.
• Navigate routes efficiently and safely; provide excellent customer service.
• Handle loading/unloading and use equipment like sack barrows and hand trucks.
