Job summary

Skipton Building Society is seeking a Technology, Transformation & Resilience Risk Oversight Lead to provide second line risk oversight across information security, technology risk, AI governance, data risk, operational resilience and strategic business change.

You will deliver independent risk assurance, challenge and reporting to senior leaders; bring strong analytical and stakeholder management skills and lead cross-functional risk initiatives.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualification or risk, technology or information security certification.
• Strong experience across information security, technology risk, operational resilience and enterprise risk management.
• Proven track record providing second line risk oversight and assurance in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent second line risk oversight across information security, technology risk, AI governance, data risk and operational resilience.
• Deliver risk reporting and analysis for senior leaders and committees, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
• Lead second line thematic reviews and risk assessments, following up to strengthen controls and prevent recurrence of events.
• Act as a trusted risk advisor, promoting a strong risk culture through guidance and stakeholder engagement.
