Job summary

Morgan King in Leeds is seeking a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join the Technology Division (MK Labs). You will train in the full recruitment cycle, partnering with founders and engineering leaders to connect top technical talent with growing companies across the UK, Europe and the US.

No prior experience needed; we provide comprehensive training from day one, with clear progression and a modern Leeds office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Drive, resilience and a competitive streak.
• Curiosity about technology and how digital products get built.
• Comfortable building rapport quickly with people at every level.
• Eager to learn, open to feedback and motivated by results.
• Happy to work full time in our Leeds office.

Responsibilities

• Business development: identifying and winning new clients among startups and scaleups
• Talent search: using AI-enabled tools to find engineers, data scientists and leaders
• Relationship building: becoming a trusted advisor to candidates and clients
• Assessment: understanding roles, screening candidates and presenting shortlists
• Offer management: guiding interview, negotiation and onboarding to a successful start
