Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services in Aberdeen, UK is seeking an experienced engineer to support well planning and BHA design, under general supervision with opportunities to engage field operations and customers.

The role requires an undergraduate STEM degree (engineering preferred) and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience, including on-well-site work, with the ability to generate design documents and reports.

Responsibilities

• Support office and field operations related to well planning and BHA design and operation.
• Deliver HMS develop solutions requirements for designing the well plan, anti-collision processes, BHA design modeling, and service documentation.
• Generate reports using current software applications.
• Fully understand survey management principles and apply them to well planning.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the technical customer base.
• Consult with customers to determine their specific needs.
• Maintain well planning and BHA design databases and assist with post-job analysis for customers.
• Advise customers and field personnel on equipment capabilities and technical complexity.

Job Duties

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Offers advice on equipment capabilities and advises customers and field personnel on technical complexity and operation..

Qualifications

• Requirements include an undergraduate degree in a STEM discipline, preferably in Engineering.
• Incumbents have a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience including working at the well site
