Job summary

Matchtech is recruiting a contract Business Analyst to support mobilisation of a major programme in a multi‑disciplinary technology team. The role focuses on capturing and tracing business and functional requirements across mobilisation streams, liaising with stakeholders, suppliers and technical teams.

The successful candidate will own requirement lifecycle activities from capture to handover, ensuring traceability through design, development and test phases, and supporting Quality Readiness

Qualifications

• Experience on large-scale mobilisation programmes.
• Proven track record turning contractual requirements into a traceable catalogue.
• Experience managing client workshops and resolving ambiguities or gaps.
• Experience delivering in both client-side and supplier-side public sector environments.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the Process and Data Change Manager by ensuring contractual requirements are captured, coded, and categorised using MoSCoW in a requirements catalogue.
• Lead client stakeholder engagements to resolve requirement clarifications, ensuring clear deliverables.
• Define detailed process flow diagrams to support client requirements for transactional service delivery.
• Assist in defining and controlling a data dictionary aligned with the flows and functional requirements.
• Document functional requirements throughout their lifecycle, ensuring traceability back to the requirements catalogue.
• Ensure traceability during development and testing, coordinating with the development and test teams.
• Manage the handover of requirements to BAU teams, ensuring artefacts are transitioned to live support configuration.
• Assist in providing inputs into Quality Readiness Gateways where requirements are critical.
