Job summary

Matchtech in Reading (Hybrid) is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support digital engineering and software engineering programs, including MOD and aerospace projects. You will own requirements definition and governance from stakeholder need to implementation, ensuring full traceability.

You will capture and analyse system and software requirements, manage baselines and change requests, and work with software development, systems engineering and V&V teams to drive validated solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business analysis and requirements engineering (systems + software).
• Strong knowledge of elicitation, management, traceability, and change control.
• Experience in aerospace/defence environments (MOD/UK).
• Active SC clearance; DV advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyse, document, and maintain system and software requirements.
• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability across lifecycle artefacts.
• Coordinate governance activities including audits and traceability reviews.
• Collaborate with software development, systems engineering, and V&V teams.
• Support reviews, validation, and verification activities.
• Resolve requirements-related issues with stakeholders.
