Job summary

Tilt Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a Technology & Change team delivering a major IT transformation programme in a hybrid Cheshire setting. You will translate business needs into practical technology solutions across Agile, DevOps and Waterfall environments.

Responsibilities include requirements gathering, user stories, process mapping, data migration support and defining KPI requirements with stakeholders from across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Delivering Business Analysis across IT and business transformation projects.
• Requirements gathering and stakeholder workshops.
• Business process mapping and process improvement.
• Writing user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Data analysis, reporting and dashboard requirements.
• Data migration, system implementation or transformation projects.
• UAT planning and execution.
• Working within Agile, DevOps and/or Waterfall environments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders to understand business needs
• Define project scope, objectives and business requirements
• Produce user stories, use cases, process maps and functional specifications
• Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Create process flows, data flow diagrams and system interaction models
• Support data migration activities including mapping, validation and reconciliation
• Work closely with Solution Architects and technical teams to shape effective solutions
• Define reporting, dashboard and KPI requirements alongside business stakeholders
• Prepare test scenarios, acceptance criteria and UAT scripts
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing and support business users through testing
• Assist with deployment planning, cutover activities and post-go-live support
• Collaborate with developers, QA and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle
