Job summary

eSIM Go is seeking a Director-level tech lead to take ownership of the Reseller platform, guiding architecture to delivery while being hands-on with code. You will collaborate with Product and Customer Success to define features that deliver measurable value to partners.

You will set standards across the engineering team, champion automated testing, and help scale the platform for growth in a flexible, multi-disciplinary environment with remote work options.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a full stack backend developer, including leadership or mentoring.
• Strong CS foundations, distributed systems focus.
• Proven track record setting technical direction on live products.
• Experience designing scalable REST APIs and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for the Reseller platform and own architectural decisions.
• Design, write, review code, and mentor team to achieve high quality standards.
• Build robust APIs to support various clients (desktop, mobile).
• Manage distributed systems in a cloud environment with automation.
• Collaborate with Product/CS teams to shape features and roadmap.
