Job summary

Testlio is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the team owning partner integrations, public API, and identity surfaces. You will drive OpenAPI-driven APIs, scalable third-party integrations, and a product-focused API strategy while mentoring a remote team.

Expect hands-on coding portions, strong collaboration with product and enterprise clients, and a focus on reliability and observability. In this role, you will shape the roadmap, manage vendor integrations, and ensure self-serve diagnostics

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering management experience in a remote environment.
• Leading teams of 4+ engineers with agility and deliverables.
• Proven API ownership experience including OpenAPI, versioning, and deprecation.
• Experience building or running integrations against external APIs at scale.
• Strong background with TypeScript/Node.js on AWS and serverless patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform's external integration contracts, APIs, and data sync.
• Develop API as a product with versioning, authentication, and rate limiting.
• Drive self-serve support, diagnostics, and automation to reduce manual triage.
• Collaborate with product and enterprise client teams to align roadmaps.
• Establish planning, design reviews, and scalable engineering rhythms.
• Provide technical leadership while contributing code and architectural decisions.
• Own production support, incident triage, and root-cause analysis.
• Define reliability metrics and build observability dashboards.
