Job summary

ECA International is seeking a Tech Lead - Capability to own core platform foundations for a multi-tenant B2B SaaS product. You’ll stay hands-on while setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and shaping how we build software with AI-first approaches.

You’ll work across identity, tenancy, and architecture, partnering with Product to turn requirements into scalable technical solutions. Eligible to work in the UK, hybrid working options available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' software engineering experience
• Experience leading and mentoring engineers
• Strong hands-on coding across full-stack tech stack
• Ability to design scalable multi-tenant SaaS architectures
• Experience with AI tooling in development is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers while staying close to the code
• Own technical direction and define engineering standards
• Architect scalable, multi-tenant solutions
• Collaborate with Product and Delivery to translate requirements
• Estimate work realistically and unblock delayed projects
• Promote Agile practices and continuous improvement
• Advocate best practices around architecture, testing and TDD
• Explore AI integration and guardrails in the SDLC
• Drive productivity with AI coding agents when appropriate
